El Ceibo
A stay at El Ceibo, Dona Carmen’s ranch, will wash away the stresses of modern life. Swim in the crystal clear waters of the river which runs through her ranch and eat food which is uncontaminated by preservatives.
Much of the food is home produced, such as honey, butter, cheese, bread and of course beef! It would be difficult to be a vegetarian here!
You can also learn to speak Spanish or to dance the Tango. Locally they still make bricks by hand and she would be delighted to take you to see them being made. The ranch is near Florida , a town which has a church with an amazing collection of gifts given by grateful people as thanks for saving them from disaster, bad health, even death! These gifts range from gold jewellery to motor cars and can be seen in a warehouse attached to the church. It really is a most amazing sight.
